Well, hot on the heels of The Sundered Sword fantasy event the Riverland Gamers Guild presents to you...
The Red Crusade
I've realy gotta work on these names, eh...
What: 2000pt 40K tournament, 5 games over two days. Current codex lists, Forge World (no fliers or anything with structure points/void shields) and all characters (max one per army). Other than that, whatever flavour of fromage you can come up with.
When: 14th-15th November, starting 10:30am both days
Why: Heretics need purging, thats why!!!
How Much: $25 covers entry & sausage sizzle.
Where: Riverland Gamers Guild Shop 2/137 Fifteenth Street Renmark SA
All I have to do now is decide weather to take Orks or Templars ;D

Goodluck everyone for tomorrow. Takes a true gamer to put up with the heat and keep his cool on the table. Hope your minis do not melt and serve you well.
I would have a winner prediction but I have no idea who is playing... so I'll say it will either be a Marine army or some Orks!

As far as I know, mine'll be the only Orks there, sooo... ;D There's a few surprises in it, too

Here's a quick rundown of the weekend Eight players (seven + me) that consisted of the usual suspects... Andrew Kruger Khorne Michael Adam (aka Mouse) Khorne Craig Schloithe Blood Angels Ben Shipway Tau (he threw em' together on Saturday mornin' ;D) Ex pat... Shane Miller Necrons Milduran Daniel... (Zkdelta) Marines (Vanilla flavoured) And one from Berri Dave... (must get names from these guys ) Blood Angels Oh, yeah... and me with Orks! Day one saw a late start, and for me, thanks to Woolies an early finish . Three games played, had to leave in the middle of game three due to work Day two and an even later start... Dave from Berri slept in till lunch ;D Two games played, all good except one minor rules dispute (page 48, second line btw ) As far who came where... Kruger - first place Mouse and Shippy - equal second place Craig - third place With Dave bringing up the rear. I'd like to thank Bega for gumby-ing in the first round and taking over for me in game three (he lost it for me ), and Dave for closing for me after I left on Saturday. Cheers.
