I will be purchasing a few decks this week in order to see how it plays. Might be something to stock at the store if it takes off...

I think you'll find it will, like all other TCGs, have a hard slog going against Magic. However it plays differently enough to be refreshing change. I reccomend getting the Drums of War starter, since unlike its predeccessors it actually has 2 starter decks in the box instead of 1. Ill be bring all mine up, but the only starter decks i havent pulled apart are the Drums of War ones.

Where'd you get them from? I wanna get my hands on some of the other starters (if they make them) all i have atm is the two you got, plus Drums of War which is excellent since it has the 2 starter decks instead of one. Which heroes did you get as the starters?

Hahah ok. Well i got Timmo Shadowstep in the azeroth one and some random Draeni shaman in the Dark Portal one. The only problem i have them is finding an appropriate size folder to store those oversize hero cards lmao

Dark Portal: Anchorite Kalinna (Draenei Priest) Azeroth: Timmo Shadestep (Gnome Rogue)
Very similar....

Yeah there wasnt much variety in the starters. There was also two 30 card starter decks in the Liche King collectors edition which i kind of... pulled apart to make other decks.

Had a game against Jacob. Stumbled through the rules but seem to have it all good. Will just reread the rules again. Getting some games in after the tournament will be great.... especially doing a raid which sounds like fun

Lol well i have the onyxia's lair raid deck. But you really need your shit together and a 5 man team to take it on. Hell its 3rd form has " (20) Flip Onyxia, Destroy all opposing heroes."

Which means killing her in less than 20 turns, or continuously using abilities that exhaust or remove resources. Onyxia's resources work differently than normal players. Instead of putting quests or other cards down you instead draw from the event card deck, a seperate deck consisting of special event cards which can have all sorts of effects on the players sometimes possitive and sometimes negative. This is then places face down in the resource row.

Indeed, this is why onyxia is designed to be tackled by a group of 5 lmao Ill bring the raid deck on saturday so you can have a look at it.

Look at it? How many decks have you got? We shall play if we can get 5 between us. Seriously we do not take those types of games too seriously so losing is always an option and noone really cares less. The second you take CCG's seriously you have already lost...

Hahaha thats true. All i have atm is 2 "legal" decks and the two 44 card starter decks. I could probably throw another deck together with the cards ive got. And then theres the Onyxia deck aswell. We'll see when i get up there. Dont think im buying anymore warcraft cards this week but i'll see what happens.
