In a few weeks when our newest coach, Shippy, has had a chance to get a beginers grip on the game we may consider running a small, short term round robin format tournament. This would schedule a game a week, and create a ladder at the end of the month, with a 1st plays 2nd game for the trophy (or some other variation to be decided). Darren is pursuing an avenue for getting a trophy made up. Should we aim for June or July for this?
Put any of your input here, any ideas etc
I would be happy for people to use their existing teams in the tourney, and to be able to keep using their teams afterwards, but more experienced coaches would also be able to use the opportunity to try a new team for a few games.

I am good for joining in on that as are the rest of the players in our household. Would games be restricted to be played on Tuesdays? If so it might be hard for Meg, Shippy or I to play Darren as we would be leaving at 8pm-ish.
If there is a trophy made up will it be a perpetual trophy or a trophy for the winner themself?

game times must be as flexible as possible to make it easy on coaches.
Ideally we need a time when all of us can get together as reliably as possible.

It would be a perpetual trophy. Am trying to source an old American Football helmet through my brother. No promises though.
