Hi all
Thought I'd poke my head in here and say hi. I'm a southern boy, so it's unlikely I'll get out to Siberia to play in the AFOUL, but from all I've heard it's a steadily growing and vibrant BB group out there.
For those that haven't yet seen it, I'm trying to get a local BB mag up and happening and issue 2 is out soon.
If you want to subscribe, flick me an email at southernstrikeeditor @ gmail.com. Get in quick before Issue 2 is released.
Alex has already put a thread up, but I'm really interested to include content from other people in the community. Any articles are welcome. Some ideas are: - a match report - an article about how you painted your awesome new team - an article about making your awesome new stadium (there's a particular jungle-themed stadium I'm especially looking at here) - a review of any good Blood Bowl related products you have used recently (like miniatures, carry cases or beer) - a team history
I'm sure there are many more ideas out there. You'd need to be very quick to get into Issue 2, but Issue 3 will be out in January, so get those creative juices flowing.
Hope to catch you all around.
May Nuffle bless your dice.

I'm a Southern 'boy' also (Morphett Vale).
Might catch you round.

P.S. Greenacres is just the other side of the city.

Mr Chops you need to start playing Bloodbowl I reckon! I reckon it is right up your alley... it's strategic, uses a small number of miniatures and there is plenty of variety.
As for the magazine I may do something up about my 'Mighty Runts' they looks fairly decent and painting them was simply the army painter method. Wont be ready for issue two though and it will need to be grammar checked as my grammar is very poor indeed... the commisioner can vouch for that!

I'm already on the subscription list. When I can find the time, I figured I would submit some pictures. Have to see how I go.

Cheers guys, it would be great to see the pics you guys have. And don't worry Ash, I'm happy to edit. Issue 2 should be out next Friday (12th Nov), but it's never too early to submit content for Issue 3. As for you capnredchops and your expeditionary spirit, I admire your dedication, but I wasn't even aware there was another side to the city until about 2008 (and I was born here)! Study and a young son preclude me from too much shenanigans.
