Any team can claim the following bonuses for any AFOUL match that is not i) a ranked match (regular season) or ii) a finals match (postseason playoffs) . These bonuses are designed to encourage new coaches to join and to allow existing coaches to change teams without being disadvantaged. Any team under the spiraling expenses cap (e.g. <175) gets double earnings. Each coach can give one extra MVP to a player of his or her choice. To be eligible for this MVP the player must be a rookie (ie <6SPP). If all players on the team have 6 or more SPP then this MVP bonus can not be allocated. Any rookie player (<6SPP) can claim - 1 SPP for each KO
- 1 SPP for each Catch
- 1SPP for each player pushed out of bounds
- 1 SPP for each foul that breaks armour (even if caught by the ref)
Official "preseason" is one month of practice games between AFOUL seasons. Coaches who are not taking part in the active season at any time are strongly encouraged to come along and get in a practice game or two, even if the league is in the middle of a season. All AFOUL games played count towards winnings, Star Player Points, Skill Ups, team rating etc. If you have queries about your roster and league play- ask the Comish.

As Paul rightly said on wednesday, these bonuses apply to our new players, even though I had forgot about them, lol

Yeah, I figured our match would not be ranked since I was the only one to get a match against Drew during the season.

sorry man, I completely forgot about this. Another reason I should prepare a full document that everyone can carry around.
Now that we have a home where we can put up reference sheets it won't be as hard to put rules printouts where everyone can read them.
