Loaded Round 08 was a 1200pt 40k tournament run over the weekend 29-30th March. 8 players participated vying for the title of best general and sportsman.
The games all ran smoothly with little to no problems springing up and all were completed well within their alloted time limits.
I think I can speak for all when I say that the weekend was an awesome one for gaming and a good time was had by all who attended.
The following are the results of the tournament. Each participent played 5 games against different players and points were awarded as follows:
Loss = 1pt
Draw = 2pts
Solid Victory = 3pts
Major Victory = 4pts
Massacre = 5pts
Sportsmanship was also awarded on a scale of 1-5 points.
Anyways here are the final placements:
1st Daniel Lacey, Tyranids (and best overall general)
2nd Kruger, Chaos Space Marines
3rd Steve Sanford, Orcs
4th Steve Cornelius, Chaos Space Marines
5th Mouse, Grey Knights (also scored best Sportsman)
6th Haydn Coats, Eldar
7th Michael Tycke, Grey Knights
8th Brandon Field, Imperial Guard
We are hoping that the Next Tournament (held sometime in July/Aug) will be even bigger with more participents and some different armies.
