Just a quick note to let you guys know that there will be a 1800pt 40k tournament in early September.
Usual restrictions but here is a few notes about the changes:
It will be using the new edition of 40k. The rules will have been out for about 2 months by then so everyone should be familiar with them.
The point scoring categories will be as follows:
Battle points (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Best Sportsman
Best looking unit and character (this is painting and modelling based)
Best overall general (this takes into account all of the above)
It will be 5 games over two days (3 saturday and 2 sunday)
We need a name for this tournament (Loaded round is for the tourney in the first half of a year) Please make a suggestion!

Hmmm, maybe I could make a list and combine it with the tale of four gamers thingie... I could make a divergent marine list, put em' all on bikes n' speeders, paint em' purple n' call em'... Kruger wing ;D
Or Gouda wing (not sure which ;D ;D )

Okay the tournament was going to be postponed till much later this year but due to the popularity of the idea ill be throwing in the official details in the next day or so....
Will be late September early october.
And yes, Special Characters allowed!!

Cool, that will give me time to move, unpack and get some modeling done, hell maybe I could even get enough guard together to field them (and loose every game)
as for the name, well the last one was a shootie name (loaded round) how about this one having a hth themed name, like Lightning Claw
