Remember that the Dice and Deck is open everyday of the holidays from 10am!
We will be running a host of activities of which a lot will be centered around the release of the new edition of Warhammer 40000!
1st Week:
Monday: Bring a friend day. The community is alot stronger with more members. Bring in a friend and potentially make a new powerful ally or deadly foe. Small games will be running for all Games Workshop systems all day.
Tuesday: Wizkids games. Learn and play in some Pirates, Halo and Starwars games. Everything is provided. 10% off all Wizkids products and orders.
Wednesday: Free Open Magic Tournament!
Bring in your Decks and partake in some games of magic. Wins and losses are tallied up in order to find the victors and top planes walkers!
Thursday: Painting Session and Seminar. Learn some new techniques and explore the benefits of the new and improved painting products and the greatness that is the Citadel Painting System.
Friday: Games Night and the beginning of the 5th Edition 40K launch!
At 12am Saturday morning the 40k rulebook will officially be on sale and the very first of the new editions game will be played!
Those who purchase the book or order the book will be eligible to take part in this game!
Saturday and Sunday: Launch weekend. 10% off sale for all those who order or purchase the rulebook on all 40k products and paints etc. Seminars explaining the rules changes and demonstrations showcasing this huge release.
Week 2:
Monday: Bring and Bash participation games. Bring in a unit or two and participate in some multi player games and test out the new rules for yourself!
Tuesday-Friday: The Terralax Invasion. Evil Forces make planetfall and invade the imperial planet of Terralax. Take part in this narrative 40k campaign and either take sides with the forces of evil to help destroy the planet or ally with the imperium and try to save it.
Different scenarios all entwine to tell the fate of the planet culminating in a huge Apocalypse Battle for the final say in the planets fate!
Take part in just one or all of the battles and potentially add your name to the hall of heroes or Tyrants. Make your mark in History!!
Saturday: Modeling and Conversion Clinics. Having trouble with a model or want to try a complicated conversion?
Bring it in and get some expert help and advice!
Later that evening will be held a members night with some possible Diablo 2 network action!
Lvl 1 starting characters.
Sunday: Holiday wind down. Just chill out at the Deck, take part in a game or two and remember what was an awesome set of school holidays.
