Under New Management Event and Sale!!

Well you should know that the Dice and Deck has been sold and is under new management (if you don't get over to the news boards to see whats going on) and as such and in the tradition of things the store will be holding a weekend sale and a few events!

Firstly there will be a 10% off sale held over the weekend of Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of November!

Absolutely everything will be reduced by 10% including orders that are paid up front. For those of you that can not attend the sale postage is free for orders over $150!!




Saturday will see the first of many HUUUGE APOCALYPSE GAMES!!
The table will be 24 FEET LONG (possibly even longer....) and will host the biggest battle the Dice and Deck has ever seen!

Bring along your armies (have a rough roster ready so we can get an idea of your points value so we can get roughly equal sides) but try to limit it to 3000pts guys as there will be many players....

There is no minimum points value so even if you have just got one unit painted bring it along and chuck it on the table. The game will start at 11am and go till 7pm.

If you rock up late no worries. We will just chuck you on the table to help out whichever side is fairing the worst and maybe you can change the tide of the battle!

There will be some give aways for those who perform admirably and heroically during this battle... even those who try some crazy stuff and happen to pull it off!




Sunday the 23rd will see the Dice and Deck providing a free BBQ/Sausage Sizzle for those who turn up. There will be all sorts of gaming happening so come on down with whatever you have and play some games!

These events are open to anyone who wishes to partake in the weekends madness so make sure you get on down to the store for the weekend and take advantage of the Sale, Apocalypse and FREE FOOD!




A quick note on Apocalypse for those who do not know what it is...
Apocalypse literally allows you to use anything in your 40K collection. There are NO force organisation charts. You can field 100 Space Marine Commanders or none at all.... unlimited Heavy Support... Ally armies together that could not normally ally.... It really is 40K in its most open form. There will be THOUSANDS of points on the table... It will most likely be one of the largest games you have ever played!!

We'll ill definately try and make it up for the apocolypse game. And by try i mean ill find SOMEONE to drive me up. Ill probably need a place to crash though for the next day of gaming but im sure i can work something out.

Do the models need to be mostly painted for the apocolypse game?

And painted models prefferred but really not too fussed. Just want it to be an awesome experience for all involved with many tales to tell of their exploits.

Dunno if it was the first, but I was at one, think it was when you took over Ash, was a riot, loved it, even if my eldar did only last one turn under those barages before Ash would say, "don't pack them away- more eldar reinforcements are needed over here!" LOL

Meh i can sleep anywhere went on a trip to adelaide with a 24hr mcdonalds as my emergency accomidation.
Some of my stuff wont be be finished painting, i just really want ulrik to be done when i field him there. hmm maybe i should get Ragnar to complete the trinity.
