army list done.
now working on gluing loose guys to bases to they'll make it through 4 games relatively intact.
Army will be about half painted. (which I think is not too bad for a 116 model army).
Decided to take tomorrow off so I can get some more paint on these guys.

Awesome Alex, good to see people going all out to get things done on time. My army will be 80% painted with just the lootas having no paint on them,

I'm pretty happy with how the guard went in the RA tourney, but most of my infantry squads didn't have special weapons, and I reckon adding a plasma gun to several of them would give a nice boost to their versatility.
Also I might take an extra special weapon squad with melta guns, thanks to James for the idea of converting the plastic flamer, I've tried one and it looks decent.
I don't have anything to make plasma guns out of though- I've seen some conversions using lasguns and plasma pistols that look great. Does anyone have any plasma pistols that are surplus to their needs?

What am I working on...?

Finishing the jungle bases that I have been working on. They were quite the hit at Random Alliance. I am also starting to base my CNC workshop ruins in a similar manor.

Tomorrow I will be cutting out the mdf for my River sections... yep, river sections.

Dude I've got a bunch of metal cadian special weapon guys I'm not using anymore, they just need to be stripped of the paint. I don't want them.

Modeled up an advisor for my command squad, dude with binos and an auspex (all the better for directing those orbital bombardments).
Might put pictures up if I get some paint on him.

I just remembered I've got a tonne of bits from about 6 cadian command squad boxes too if you want to go through it, banners, ccw's, etc.

I only just noticed that kit, some very cool bits in there- I was gonna buy one or two to fill out a few specialist roles in the army like snipers, imperial navy guy etc, so if you've got the bitz all the better to make some of those special teams and things.

Overall they're horrible figures scuplted by someone else rather than the guy who did the original cadians, they're a hell of a lot smaller. I just wanted them for the medic, melta and plasma guns.
