Well I got my next lot of modern US and Taliban today so I guess I'll be cleaning up, basing, and undercoating those. Pics to follow soon with comparisons to the other lot I bought.

Finished the dreadnought, sans the purity seals I need to dig up. Also did the termies and starting on the marines. Now back to WoT to get some more experience and money to unlock the Leopard tank

All the black reach set is now assembled and undercoated and even based (albeit with plain modelling sand). Picked up a can of humbrol silver spray to give them a base coat, minus the commander who I'll be doing all by hand.

With the release of the Black powder ruleset I've finally decided it's time to do my American Civil War Union army, so I'll be working on that at home and my modern warfare stuff at work.

Well I finally got fed up with the crappy friggin Leman Russ turrest and decided to do something about it. How the hell is anyone supposed to load the gun, especially the demolisher cannon, when the turret is so goddamn small? So here's my much better solution The old turret  the new turret  but first I needed to widen the front a bit and add the current commanders hatch which involved sanding off the cast on hatch ring and then grinding out the hatch for the new cupola to fit in  like this  I'm now currently changing all my standard Russes to have a similar turret |

Ok I've cut down the vanquisher cannons for the rest of my russes and cut of the co-axial storm bolter, but what do I put in it's place?  |

Well I've solved my problem of what to put next to the gun, I cut down a part of the valkyrie spares I have lying around and made it a sight for the gun. My only complaint is its just slightly too big but it does the job.   And here's a comparison to the old turret so you can clearly see the size difference  And just something I was mucking around with Gun shield?  Or no gun shield?  |
