What you witnessed tonight was a good night lol, at its worst we get 5 - 6. Some only manage to come every 2nd week or just cant for various reasons.

Yeah, and getting a game going really fired up the guys into wanting to get stuff done so they could get more games going.

Yep and you will find that a game every week will keep people keen and the faster you get 2 painted armies and some cool looking tables and terrain, armies will just appear.
Just get out of the all your models must be the best painted ever as for your first army it will happen one of two ways.
1) you will take so long to finish that you may even lose interest.
2) you will find (as i did and so many others) that the painting is not that good anyway as you get more skill as you progress.
So get your models together and get gaming and paint on the way it also helps with Learning the rules by gaming every week.

Yeah, i just picked up a bunch of paints today so i can get a couple of squads done by next week. the majority of the time consuming basecoating has already done, just needed a couple of colours to do the torsos. Hopefully aaron comes next week, then we can run Black Templars vs Soul Drinkers. Ill email him to bring his imperial sector kit too (or hopefully he'll see this)

Well i have not painted for some time and picked up a brush and (i hate painting so paint fast) i hate undercoating with a brush it take so long and the weather here is so much hoter than Tassie and my paint dried so fast LOL whine whinge LOL.
Anyway i hope to paint some thing before tuesday night.
Oh and car is regoed so may me looking up for me.

Thats what black spray is for It may cost more but its hell quicker. And yeah, painting at night is advisiable when it gets hot, or have an aircon on or something. Ive been noticing it with my stuff too. |

I am not a huge fan of painting so I utilise a very quick method of Spray undercoat, base colors and finished off with washes.... Lazy yes, Quick yes, tabletop standard... yes

Yeah ill be the same with my painting. I may improve it later on. But adam has been investing much time lately in refining his technique and using all sorts of new methods and things he's learning from all the masterclasses and how to paint books and using them on my birthday present he's painting up. Ill post a picture of it when i actually get it given to me lol
