Indeed! I was expecting a different reply from you.... more along the lines of 'Sigh, so they are not changing the Catachans then...  ' and I would totally agree. What they need to do is rescale the catachans down by 5-10% (not the weapons) Then they will be absolutely awesome and we will see more of them around. |

They are freakin giants compared to Cadians. Now some people may say 'they breed them big on Catachan' but that won't wash with me. I like the way they look, I have no problem there its just the scale they are compared to every other guardsman.

Wtf are you on about... The (plastic) Crapachans are pieces of turd scented crap wrapped in excrement... they are the worst models Gee Dubb have ever produced. The old metal ones are about 5% smaller than the plastics, and they were about 10% larger than the rest of the old metal range back then. With the plastic moulding technology they have at the moment, there's no reason why they can't scale em' down (aside from the cost of re-tooling the moulds, of course). In scale terms they are the same height as a marine, which would make em' 7' tall... If this was the case, why aren't all the Marine chapters fighting amongst em' selves to use them for replacements? In the immortal words of Mister Horse... No sir... I don't like it  |

Nah they were bred from the noble line of Norris. And space marines do recruit heavily from catachans and other deathworlds. In fact i thought i remembered reading about quite a few smurfs coming from there.

Lmao not all smurfs come from ultramar, just same as not all Space Wolves come from Fenris. Most space marine chapters recruit from Deathworlds, Catachans is a deathworld and the models represent deathworlders anyway (well they used to in their codex) ergo... space marines recruit them anyway And yeah... smurfs are jizz |

That dragon is pretty sweet, shame the same can't be said for that f@#king awful wolfguard. Goddamn does that suck.
Those Catachans are actually scaled down slightly from the originals, when they made the Catachan heavy weapon set they were more in scale than the original plastics. Which were/are sh!t.
That new Marius Leitdorf (the guy below the steam tank) looks pretty good although somewhat cartoony but that may just be the paint job.
