AUTUMN ALCOPOCALYPSE 09!
It's about time we put on an event which puts two of our favourite past times together: 40K and enjoying a brew or two.
This event will be the first of what will hopefully be a quarterly event.
The dice and Deck will soon be host to a brand spanking new Wargaming Club servicing the riverland region. Own club means own funding which means own fundraising and this will be the first of such fundraisers.
On Saturday the 16th at 6pm all the juniors will be unceremoniously booted out of the venue and the gaming will commence. This is Alcapocalypse and anything goes. There are none of the usual restrictions put in place at an Apocalypse event besides the following: WYSIWYG!
Our soon to be booze soaked minds will be too addled to remember that that Solo can over there is a carnifex (that ones for you Dave) If your Tau are missing arms then they can not shoot, you may be able to argue they can pull a trigger with their feet but they will have to take a hit to their BS. If a model has no head then it can not draw line of sight.
There is a shirt being made up for the event and it is part of the $50 entry cost. That same $50 will also get you accomodation at the Dice and Deck (bring something to sleep on or in) and a BBQ feed. What the $50 won't get you is the beer....
IT's FREE and provided to us by by the brewing talents of Mr Alex!
2 Kegs will be on offer as well as a random sampling of other beers. This could well turn out to be quite the informative session on what a good beer actually is!
The store will be closed on the Sunday so no nasty early wake up calls. Feel free to wallow in your own hangover however you see fit. Just remember if you throw up on the floor you are getting it dry cleaned
I am sure all manner of crazy events may break out over the evening and maybe the drinking itself will be integrated into the game somehow???
Also feel free to BYO drinks.

Why: Cause it will be hilarious!
Cost: $50, $25 must be paid for in advance (before May 1) so we canorder the correct number of shirts. PM me if this will be a problem. Will also need the shirt size you want to recieve!
Things you need to bring: A 40K army WYSIWYG up to 5000pts preferred but whatever you got is good enough, some thing to sleep on or in if you plan on shutting your eyes for any period of time, any alcohol you wish to drink other than the free beer!
