A mysterious old medicine man has arrived in town for a few weeks and is offering his services to heal your players.
Of course to pay for the rare ingredients of his potions and for the construction of his high tech surgical apparatus he does require a small fee for each patient he treats.
cost 100,000gp 2d6 roll result effect 2 brain surgery disaster -- dead 3 Failed mind meld -- gain Really Stupid skill 4 ooops, wrong nerve -- -1 agility 5 mysterious infection -- gain decay skill 6 don't clamp that tendon! -- -1 movement 7 we have a bleeder! ---gain niggling injury 8 no effect 9 patchup job -- regain a lost point of armour or gain thickskull skill 10 successful mind meld -- gain hypnotic gaze and dauntless skills 11 miraculous recovery -- restore one lost point of AG or ST or gain a normal skill 12 brain surgery success -- remove either wild animal, bonehead, or gain one 'doubles' skill

the medicine man has been paid, unfortunately there is no discernable effect from his work (I rolled 8 on 2D6- at Random.org) bad luck, a little higher and you'd have been in the good stuff. Your new roster attached. Attachments:
