the league had a new town ready to go, but Praag authorities have advised that due to a string of marauder raids to the south of the city on the main highway a curfew is in effect and the city is under martial law. Therefore for the second week in a row the NFI will be playing in Praag.
The locals are not known for their gentile ways, they would rather be out in the countryside hunting or warring. Being couped up in a town under martial law makes the citizens a little wilder than usual. Fans in this condition have been known to 'get involved' in the game somewhat, by tripping players by the sideline, throwing an empty beer jug or two at a a passing player and doing everything they can to interact with the players.
[all actions that require the roll of a D6 will be have a -1 modifier if it takes place in either sidezone or within 4 squares of the endzone. e.g. passing, catching, picking up the ball, intercepting, dodging, going for it]
[players are never sent off for fouling, which Kislevites see as a legitimate part of Blood Bowl strategy.]
Despite their normal attitude to fouling the town authorities are concerned that if the town remains closed for many more weeks they may run out of blood bowl players. As they are the main form of entertainment for the very rough and volatile citizenry of Praag they have instructed the referees of this week's games to "discourage" fouling in an attempt to protect the players somewhat.
[if caught fouling (roll of doubles) the referee will dole out some summary justice to the fouling player- treat this as if the player was stabbed with +1 to the armour and injury rolls. Being caught fouling causes a turnover]

Praag- Kislev
This week the Northern Football Invitational has been invited to play in Praag, one of three main cities in the nation of Kislev. Kislev is the northern most extent of human civilisation in the old world, and Praag is the northern most city in Kislev. To the north are the rolling wasted tundras of troll country and the chaos wastes. Life on the frontier is hard, fighting is an intrinsic component of every day life.
The citizens of Praag are always surrounded by the taint of chaos and a panoply of enemy forces. The people learn to do anything they can to win a fight, and to enjoy every minute they live before death. No pursuit juxtaposes the glory of success with gory grim death as much as Blood Bowl, and the game is the only cultural pasttime in the city to which they bring their grisly yet pragmatic outlook on life and war.

Amoung the children and young men of the poor quarter the dream of being recruited by a passing team is the hope of escaping an untimely death as a soldier defending Kislev from the marauders of the north. Young hopefulls pack the stadium at every game and take every opportunity to show off their Blood Bowl skills in the hope of catching the eye of one of the coaches.
[throw ins go 3D6, not 2]
[+3 to injury rolls caused by the crowd]
During the Great War Against Chaos 200 years ago Praag was laid siege to by an the titanic Chaos horde of Asavar Kul. Though Magnus the Pious and the Kislevite forces won the day and broke the siege, the city was left so tainted by Chaos that the structures of the city became twisted and mutated, sprouting tentacles and mutations while the ground quaked and writhed and. The surviving citizens of Praag had no option but to burn it to the ground and rebuild their city from scratch. Since that time it has been known as "The Cursed City".
[If a player rolls double 1 for a skill improvement after a game in Praag they must take a mutation, even if it is not normally allowed for their race.]
