Welcome to the third of the boards themed hobby competitions. If you have not already read all the rules and stuff about the competitions then it is strongly recommended that you do so here:
www.thediceanddeck.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=competitions&action=display&thread=920
This third competitions theme has been chosen by the previous competitions winner Calico_jack. Those who know her will know of the colorful and outgoing personality that this forum member has and it really does not come as a surprise that a theme such as this has been chosen.
It is hoped that more entries will make it to the finished state by the end of the six week time limit and that these entries will be of a broad range.
I myself am hoping to see some very humorous ones.
EXAMPLES OF INTERPRETATION
Fail should be a really easy one to come up with ideas for. In the worlds, genres and time periods that we play there are many times in which the combatants, environment or equipment can err on the side of fault and failure. You could go with something literal like a weapon exploding, a unit being forced back or a Night Goblin Fanatic smashing through his own unit.
You could do something obscure and humorous too.
However you choose to represent the theme the idea of failure must be central. If you are not sure then reply to this initial post and the moderator of this themed competition will get back to you.
Dates:
Starts Saturday 12th December till 11:59pm Sunday 8th February.
9th of February will see a poll being created for the public to vote on to determine who will win the right to choose the next competitions theme and of course the $50 GW online voucher.
