Okay my deck as it stands is a Green Wurm Deck with a large element of Elves. The Wurms are for obviously crushing my foe and the Elves are for quick easy creatures that also boost my mana/allow me to grab mana out of library.
Besides that I have the usual boosters and destroy enchantment/artifact shenanigans.
What I want to do is get some black in my deck. I need spells that can just outright kill large numbers of weak creatures and maybe a few to handle the larger ones. Mass hordes of 1/1 are my bain and I need to deal with them.
Also are there any black elves that are cheap and allow me to locate swamps easily?

Also are there any black elves that are cheap and allow me to locate swamps easily? if i cast myself deep into the recesses of my dark memory, i reckon that there is a elf, black related, and will add green mana to your pool. but i think they're pretty rare to get hold of. thats the only one i know of, apart from the new blocks that i haven't yet looked into, anything after guildpact basically. so you're going to add black for "detroy target creature...." that has its great uses, and also has the effectiveness to deal out -1/-1 to all cresture or more in play, to deal with tokens and such. i myself stear away from such tactics, and only use black where nessesary to make a mechanic work. i'd say look into green/red. burn spells are great, and when there is no target, you smack the player for direct damage. red also has its mana boosting. a few cards (common ones) exist that add quick mana to your pool. something like 'seething song' only cost 2R and from it you get RRRRRR, thats 5 mana on the third turn, use that with maybe a few land searching spells, and you have 8 lands out on turn 5. red also has its big gribblies, mainly in the worm of beasts. and there are a few red/green wurms out there aswell. just check it out

i once bought a red green and it had wurms it was great and yes i agree small 1/1s are annoying but if i got all the cards from that deck and showed you, you would die. one evil card is:
Borborygmos (or something) 6/7 trample 2 green 2 red and 3-4 colourless i think
When ever this creature deals damage to a player put a +1+1 counter on each creature you control.
its got trample so it deals loads of damage and boosts your creatures!!!!!!!!!! its evil worthy of satan

i dont think that fits with ash's style of play, he only attacks as much as he needs to, usually only once or twice. though it could be very powerful if he changed his tactics to suit it (for one card it isnt worth it, hed have to change his deck heaps imo*).
*imo= in my opinion, for you less nerdy people.
