Was thinking about making a Capture the flag rules for Halo Clix
Proposed Rules for halo clix
Capture the flag
Object of the game is to score points by grabbing the oppositions flag from there base and taking it to your flag in your base
• Game will require a referee to adjudicate and keep track of player turns
• 1 to 3 man teams per player ( Only Spartans or elites)
• Team identified by colored stickers on model bases
• Player need a minimum of 6 model of the same type (with different weapons of course)
• All players divided into teams to make even teams with predetermined weapon sets (the same for each team)
• Bases to be set up on edges of maps as far apart from each other as is practical
• Bases to be as identical as possible with the flag located in the same area of each base
• Weapon cashes randomly located on map ( gives players the ability to swap out models to suit picked up weapons)
• Map to have the same amount of spawn/re-spawn points as the game has players
• Re-spawning is to be assigned randomly by dice roll
• Game is divided into player turns that are randomly determined by dice roll off at the start of each fresh turn ( when using multiple models per player each model has to roll it’s own dice to get a position in the que)
• Standard moving & shooting rules
• Game is decided by reaching a preagread points score
• Kill =1 point
• Flag Grab from base =3 points
• Flag taken to your bases flag =6 points
• Player with flag may not use carried weapons but can still melee attack if within leaping range( 2 squares) from another model and has the weapon profile of causing 3 wounds except on a Double 6 attack roll result in witch case it causes an instant kill
Feel free to post any ideas, complaints or even wild rants as to what you all think about the proposed rules as i need all the feed back to try to make it work, (have fun with it but do try to be constructive in your comments or at the very least funny.)
