This is an awesome series/miniseries/movie/tv event.
If you like Big Brother You will love it.
If you hate big Brother you will love it.
If you like zombies then you will definitely love it!
The Show is set in England during one of the series of big brother. The housemates are living as they do in the house, talking shite (as they say it). Thye characters are the usual mismatched grouping of people chosen to essentially drive each other insane.
Its coming up to one of the eviction nights and all hell breaks loose.
A zombie plague rips through england (and probably the rest of the world) and the housemates are completelyunaware as to whats going on... for a short while anyway.
This is not a zom-com, far from it. Its gritty and dirty and has all the gratuitous slaughter that you can expect from a decent zombie event. Theres even a scene that is on par with the works of the great Savini.
I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good zombie flick, gore flick or horror flick.
As for why its a movie/series/miniseries/event....
Well it has been shown in all those formats. a 2.5 hour movie, a 5 episode series, a 2episode miniseries and as a special movie presentation. Crazy stuff.
It was first aired on SBS in Australia as part of a special zombie season on SBS where each episode was followed by a lesser known zombie movie. Some awesome ones were shown.
Anyways go out and get it, hire it whatever. I luckily found mine ex rental for $10.
Gold!
