Or the start of the Finnish ;D Ok, in light of Stanley aka Battlewearypriest starting the MW Commie tiny tank company of doom, I've taken it upon myself to actually start my Finnish army. A mostly footsloggin' infantry company, with a sizable contingent of artillery, and a smattering of captured Russian armour. I've already painted the Company command teams and close defense anti tank teams, and have made a start on the first of two platoons... this leaves two platoons of infantry, two mortar platoons, an artillery platoon and three tanks left to paint. 179 models in total. The plan is to have this army painted, based and up n' running by the end of March next year... That's the plan, anyway ;D That equates to a run rate of 1.8 figures/models a day till then... Pics to come, once I can remember the pass word for my Photobucket account  |

Well, off to a great start...
Two days into it, and I started paintig a platoon of Commandoes for my late war Brits...
I polished these off and remembered I had a machinegun platoon for my Poms that needed painting, sooo...
Anyhoo... As of today, they're both painted and nicely base. Two platoons painted and based in a little under three weeks.
Now I can start to rip into the Finns again (run rate's up to 2.45 a day) ;D

Todays effort sees ten little men sitting on my bench being three quarters completed. Tomorrow I'll polish them off, base em' and undercoat the next two or three bases worth. Still can't remember either of my photobucket passwords |

I saw th little fins this afternoon and they are looking good so far except for the fact that Draconis managed to glue white snow flock to his palm. It just looks wrong, very,very wrong. |

Well, polished off two more 5 man bases today (based as well).
Will start another two tomorrow. How many have you done Shane ;D
Took some pics today, some of em even worked. All I have to do now is resize em'.

If you have Photobucket in the settings you can change it to automatically resize them to whatever you like as you upload them.

I painted those eight minis on the weekend which means I don't have to paint another till next weekend where I do another eight. I really want to have them all painted by the time I leave but that seems very hard to accomplish with work and sleep taking a fair bit of time out during the day. |

Well, started two more bases worth yesterday (thursday).
Too f**king hot to paint for most of today, but towards the end of the night I've managed to have em' three quarters finished.
They'll be finished and based tomorrow, then onto the next couple.

Well, they (almost) got polished off today...
Shop full most of the day, game against Shippy, closing early due to a desperate need to see Avatar etc etc.
Next two bases undercoated for their impending paint jobs...
This will see the Command platoon and an Infantry platoon completed. Will be painting their HMG platoon next week just for something diferent.
Run rate down to 2.045 ;D

Been slack these last four or five days... ;D I've only managed to paint up half of a machinegun platoon. According to the new Eastern Front book, I can now have two of these.  Oh, and I've also finished basing the unbased Falschirmjaeger I painted last year. I'm already sick of painting grey, so I might paint some Bersallieri in between each couple of bases or so of Finns, just to break the monotony. |
