Okay, this is a really early announcement of murmurings of a rumor but word has it that there may be a interstate Bloodbowl tournament in the making.
I have talked to both Ranger (Mildura WAAAGH) and Alex (Northern Football Invitational) independently and both seem to be all for a interstate Bloodbowl Tournament to be held probably in Adelaide.
Nothing is hard and fast, locations are not locked, dates are unheard of....
But this could be a great thing so if you are a fan of the game and would love a day or two of Bloodbowl action then voice your opinions on the matter here!

I have had a quite a few PM's on the subject and 3 emails (for the love of me I do not know why you dont reply here.... slackness?) so here is the deal. I get 2 more responses and we will make this a reality. That will give us 12 potential players and ill post out a mass email/pm for more interest. I would like the same number of players from both SA and VIC, at least 6, to make this a true interstate tournament with a trophy on the line. Oh, and will be using the competition rules pack that GW has published on their site: www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?catId=cat1490024&categoryId=1100006§ion=&aId=4800003As for the running of the tournament I'll leave that to one of the experts, I'll just organise all the non game aspects ie. location, dates, fees, prizes and accomodation.

Well if this comes to be, and it looks like it will, then everyone will be well informed.
At this point I can give you some information that will no doubt change but this is what I would like to see:
Date: May-ish, will be a weekend.
Time: Will be a two day tournament starting at 10am both days and after speaking to the BB nutters on this board ie. Alex and Ranger, it will be kn own how many games and time limits for each game giving us an estimated end time for each day.
Cost: This will depend on 2 things; the venue and prizes.
Prizes: all will be trophies, no minis or other products. A perpetual large cup trophy thingy and then a few smaller trophies for individuals. It also depends on how many people will be coming, the more the merrirer plus it drives the price down. I have always been able to keep the costs low on tournaments and since no profit has to be made it will be as low as I can make it.

Has anyone got any new thoughts on this event?
We have a great place to play games and host tournaments in and best of all the host does not really charge for us to use the space so the price can be brought right down.
