[Rumour] New Orc, Skaven and High Elve kits?

I heard last week from an excellent internal source that the following new figures are currently at the moulding room at GW’s manufacturing facility at Lenton. The models are currently being scanned/digitally edited in preparation for tooling, have had / are having the moulds tooled, or first sprues have been produced:

• Orc boys (digital editing). Includes at least one top-knotted very savage looking head.
• High Elf Spearmen (mould tooled). No additional info on this.
• Skaven Warpthrower team (3-up being scanned). Team is robed with WWI-style gas-masks.


Ok, here is the breakdown:

New Orc Boyz. Very promising rumour indeed with the advent of Warhammer 8th edition being just around the corner. the greenskin armies are generally in the first 3 books to be redone lineup and that means new miniatures. Also look for plastic Boar Boyz in the near future.

New High Elf Spearmen. Do not know what to make of this. The current models although great are starting to look a little dated. If these guys get redone expect an entire range reshuffle.

Skaven Warpfire Team. This just really needs to be done. Simple.

I can now inform you that the first of these new Fantasy kits will be out in May. Any guessing which ones??

Thinking of starting an Orc army to compliment my Gobbos.
Although, after the drumming Bega got from em' last week (I can still smell the deep heat they used as lube) ;D
