Rumours surfaced today that the NFI League commissioner is actually not dead, as was initially hoped, but has been trapped in the belly of a rather large squig that ran rampant after the week 7 game in mount Gundabad. Once the head apothecary has found a way to neutralise the effect of the digestive juices games are expected to resume.

Stu is interstate, but greg is a possible/probable in the future, but not this week
when we have a few interested parties we can start talking about a regular night or some other format for the 'league' games. Blood bowl is very flexible and allows for one-off games that do actually progress your team and contribute to a greater (campaign like) level of the game. Its the perfect mix, hopefully we can relocate the league to the new place so that when I am away or busy games will continue.

@ ASH - Little bit further than around the corner but no more than a 3 minute drive. I will like this new venue for accessibility but I will miss the beer on tap that our exalted commissioner brews. I am sure Alex will not miss me leaving his house @ 10.45 though. ;D

How the hell did you manage to empty all your kegs? Im guessing by some hefty drinking... but why are they empty at all???
This is a sad day.
On a side note... Alcopocalypses are something I have been given permission to run in the future if anyone is up for it?
Basically all the great stuff I used to put on will still happen except down here. And planned stuff that never happened will also happen down here. Basically I AM BACK BABY!
And back to the Bloodbowl related thread: The league will start from scratch? There are a few people this way that may be easy to get interested due to the fun of the game and the low financial commitment to starting a team.

By saying the league will start from scratch, does that mean we all start new teams with no skills or play our skilled up teams. How many are expected tonight and will there be enough pitches & block di.

Im not sure. That would be up to the league commisioner whomever that happens to be (I suggest Alex if he has the free time to run it)
There will be no problems for pitch and dice. This is an all in session so im expecting most to be playing 40k etc. I am not sure how many there will be but as this is the first session im not expecting a big turnout. It is however a good tiime to pull BB out and try to interest some new people.

no point postulating, depends if anyone is interested and what level they are at.
teams can usually be used whenever and wherever their coach pleases with no restrictions at all, blood bowl leagues aren't like real league there are no regularly scheduled games, except for the odd tournament.
its all a moot point unless people jump on here and get involved -as I don't have th time to hold every players hand, they'll have to post here, get some appropriate miniatures, maybe a copy of the game, and be responsible for their own roster maintainence etc (unless someone else wants to do it).
