Simple question which im sure will have varied answers. I have played many upon many games in my time since I first got into the hobby and have come across a myriad of gamers. Some good to play against but other times bad.
My opinion of a good gamer is someone that I have fun playing. Thats it. Dont care about their skill, army/deck, the game... none of that. Pure fun!
What do you guys think? What type of gamer do you like to play against and what attributes do you think make up a good gamer?

(please dont use names, trying to cut back on the virus that is called negativity on these boards) It is still an open forum isn't it Ash? However, I do agree with you on the enjoyment factor. I enjoy a close run loss as much as a win! Well... so long as the opponent isn't on to gloat abot it

It is open but i cant just have someone come along and type a list of the bad gamers at the store and say 'none of these are good gamers'. I want a list of what attributes a good gamer has..
So far we have an opponent that you can enjoy playing across from.
Any more?

Folks that put up with me forgetting the basic concept that the rules are constructed around and even how to play( and the fact that I am easily distracted by shinny things) but don't try to take advantage of my ineptitude.

Hmmm...... sometimes people will forget rules because they are doing a hundred million things at once... But i get what your saying. Falls in the 'plays quickly' category.

Wait, It is!!!
Forcepikes is a sign of great gamesmanship! It shows creativity and a form that is not bounded by the letter of the rules...
