Friday the 20th saw the first session of Greenacres Gamers being hosted at Movie Nights. The idea was to get the word out and let gamers in the area know we exist and although the turnout was not huge (9 gamers in all) everyone got to meet and there was a great game of 40k played between Jacobs (kwick) Space Wolves and Shanes (hivemindintraining) Tyranids.
I am not exactly sure how the game turned out as I was busy talking to everyone about the future of the club (lookin bright) but it was possibly a draw on the objective front.... The nids did beat the hell out of the Wolves on the fighting front.
If this is false then please post what the exact outcome was.
Alex (alex) also pulled out his copy of Bloodbowl and a few games of that was also played.
At this point in time it looks like we have a very random group of gamers from all ages and all sorts of backgrounds. I am hoping to get a 'passive' league set up soon so gamers can sink their teeth into all comers!
