Same as previous sessions with some 40k being played and maybe a little Bloodbowl.
The $2 fee will also be put in place so remember to bring that along. For this fee you get entry for the entire session and a substantial discount on snacks and drinks. If for some reason you forget your $2 or just can not afford it one week fear not, we can note it down and you can catch up later! (remember that if this is your first or second session you still get it free!)
This week may also see the purchase of a substantial amount of GW City Fight Terrain so expect to see that on a table in the next few weeks.
We will also talk some more about the Passive Campaign thats due for the GG's soon so if you want your say or would just like to know whats going on make sure you make it along!

a good round of games this week, 3 games of 40k (Tau win 2, SM 1-1, Nids 0-2) and 1 game of bloodbowl (a bloody and entertaining tie). $2 well spent if you ask me!

It was a good evening of gaming. Good to see some new faces and catch up with a few old friends.
Got absolutely drummed by Tau but was a great and entertaining game. I only really had a slight chance of victory from the outset with the missions rolled being my Dark Angels having to cross the board to occupy the Tau deployment zone (occupying meaning 2 scoring units) and capturing one of their objectives. The Tau needed to survive the game with 2 scoring units left in their own deployment zone and hold an objective.
I basically had to run straight at the Tau gunline and hope enough DA's survived to kick 'A' in combat.
Tactics and execution epic fail on my part and the game was lost with my entire army being wiped out at the start of turn 6...

Speaking of the Tau apparently some of the guys on here know the player from Jagged Alliance. His name is Craig and he hails from Mount Gambier when he is not studying here.
I am putting together some more Ork Boyz so I got some more foot fodder when I get my rematch against those Tau and this time I shall also have my Lootas ready (and a few Storm Boyz).

Don't worry about it man, I do have a tendency to fail in rather epic fashion also Speaking of the Tau apparently some of the guys on here know the player from Jagged Alliance. I welcome the challenge, I've not played Orks before oddly and I'm up for a good game someday

Well... consider the rematch due then. Will set a date for this rumble and may the best army not get wiped out to a man!
You also played Brett and his new fledgling 'nid army right?
