This Weeks Session 28-05-10

Lots happening at Greenacres this week. Myself and Shippy are going to have a game of 40k and this time Shippy says he will use the same points value as me and not under!

Drew has posted his interest in holding a couple of Killteam games to get ready for the upcoming tournament. If you have any 200pt armies ready to go then bring them down.

I will hopefully be making some headway on the gaming tables too. Any ideas for the fourth table guys?
I am thinking of extending the preexisting tables by another six feet (ROB, Cityfight and Jungle) in order to allow us to play a large number of smaller games on 4x4's ie split the 12x4 length into threes.

I would also start to discuss what we would like our official default rules for fantasy to be until the new edition comes out. Points values, game styles etc.

Also what would everyone like the next tournament to be after Killteam?
Remembering we can only really host 8 tables for a maximum of 16 players.... unless we do a doubles event???

I might be free for a 200 point killteam match,
depends how much work I get done during the week and how quickly I kick the arse of this oncoming cold.

Cheers Jimm. We did indeed have a few Kill Team games and it is quite interesting to see some of the stuff some people may be taking. All I will say is that players should not assume that everyone will be taking just infantry types as there are a small number of vehicles involved....

We had a 5 way Killteam game which was entertaining but unfortunately I was the first to be taking break tests having failed a few 2+ cover saves... Still I was not the first knocked out.

Earlier in the evening I got trashed by Shippy playing a Killpoints game and only having a Grot Slaver left on the table at the end of the game on turn 6 and only then because he managed to make something like 10 cover saves that turn!
