With the release of the new edition of Warhammer Fantasy just around the corner it's about time that people start to get excited for this game again. It should not be too hard with the revamped rules set that does away with a lot of the geometry aswell as more brutal combats and a hulking big book (the thing looks nuts guys... it's massive and heavy).
Normally I bust out my massive horde of Greenskins and give them a good dusting off when a new edition rolls round but this time I have done something different. I have started a brand new army. This fact in itself is exciting for me as I have really only played Greenskins in Fantasy for the last 20 odd years so breaking that habit has come as a bit of a shock for some.
I have dabbled with other armies in the past; Chaos, Brettonia, Lizardmen, Skaven, Dwarfs and High Elves but never really amassed more than a typical 1500pt army.
My new army Undead is already growing fast with a new producer of alternate fantasy miniatures (Mantic) giving me a cheap and also great looking alternative for my force. I already have a decent sized regiment of Skeleton Warriors and a nice sized unit of Ghouls so by the time the new edition comes out I should have a decent sized shambling horde ready to rock!
So whats everyone else collecting?
