You have parts of a landraider in your bitzbox? I bet you keep a forgeworld titan in there too!

Far out, why did you take it apart in the first place? You could make some really nice unique models for a painting competition....

Far out, why did you take it apart in the first place? So I could paint it with latex, make a mould, painstakingly fill it with various putties and make some awesome terrain like this 'hill' a work in progress. (sorry about the massive pics, I still haven't reinstalled photochop). You may be right, I do like to chop and change with plastic, many of my normal armies have benefited from the bits box, many of my imperial guard have a ' bearded infantry' quality to them from empire heads, e.g. the pointing sargent is a normal empire head, the guy on the left has had the militia head drastically trimmed down so it will fit inside one of the spare Cadian helmets, painstaking stuff, but gives a nice variety to the generic troops. Also enables you to use a face that has an expression to do something new, like this foot-slogger who's just been shot in the left leg or this poor sap who's lost an arm

the guard are my current 40k project, and squads are only just being filled out now, not finished yet, close tho for the first 2 infantry platoons. Still need more for HQ etc, but am very low on funds, and already have plenty of armies to play with. One squad is being modelled as an injured one, hobbling away from a conflict. This is where the injured guys above will go. Ok who's up next, ? show us your bitz box. I was thinking it'd be cool to have a bitzbox swap buletin board kinda thing, where you could add a post saying, "I need a cloak for a convertion of a brettonian knight on foot, will swap for a part you want" etc, making it a big community bitz box!

he he he,
I was just looking through my scenery box (not much in there most of my scenery is in my shed at my house in adelaide), looking for my lost hive tyrant, and what did I find? The main bits of a Eldar Falcon, seems under the old ruleset you could only have 3 and this is my 4th, so I was in the middle of converting it to a wave serpent. Into the bitz box it went! lol

so true,
I thought it would be cool to have a whole table with all the scenery incorperating parts of busted up tanks, so hills and bunkers and things have been improvised on a site that was long a go the site of a brutal battle, where much imperial armour was lost. Would love to do the same thing above to one of the new rhinos but I don't have one, maybe one day.

doubt ash would call it borrowing if it involves taking shrink wrap off boxes, lol.
Having seem the cool WH Fantasy buildings in the flesh I'll do the same to them one day, and make up a nice big city.. one day.
