Hi guys and gals,
I'm after Heroscape figures and terrain. I have a Gargantuan Black Dragon from the D & D Icons range, boxed, with card, map and scenario for a significant trade, otherwise cash or PayPal could do the job. I will have some Heroscape: RotV (first master set) figures to trade pretty soon if that interests.
I might even be able to dig up some rubber moulds from the 80's I used to cast with, along with a kid's metal casting kit (although no one would let kids near that much lead these days probably) - it's buried in the shed somewhere. They're whole figures, barbarian, goblin, skeleton warrion, that kind of thing. This is a longshot however.
Any interest?

If you had some Heroscape stuff that I don't have I could part with some stuff. I have about half of the entire range but am really looking for either Thaelenk Tundra or the Volcarren lava stuff.
My collection consists of 2 RotV, 2 SotM, 2 FotA, 1 DnD set, 1 Ticalla Jungles plus a myriad of the other 'booster' sets and mini expansions.

All I have to trade is some RotV figures, so I guess you wouldn't be interested. I am thinking of putting in an order at auggies: store02.prostores.com/servlet/auggiesgames/StoreFrontYou can buy individual units & terrain here - it's well spoken of at Heroscapers.com If you want to do a joint order and share the cost of the postage proportionately let me know. I'm looking to get: Deadeye Dan Kurrock the Elementalist 9x Water Elementals 100x water tiles Warden 816 2 x Granite Guardians squads Sir Dupius Marcus Decimus Gallus 4th Massachusetts Line 10th Regiment of Foot Roman Legionairres They don't have all of these items in stock atm but there's no rush as far as I'm concerned. CRC My next local purchase will probably be the D & D master set.

Interestingly enough just about all the stuff you hve listed there I have not got with the exception of the Roman Legionaries of which I have 2 sets and 3 sets coming. I love the models and the units rules though the archers a little soft due to a pretty dodgy range... Auggies are a US store? Pity, I generally shop UK only but as the UK are lacking in online stores with a decent amount of scape Auggies may have to do

I don't get any scape in the UK as I have not found anyone really selling the stuff online. I generally shop for my other hobby stuff in the UK (warhammer, 40k, warmachine, flames of war) It would be great if Maelstrom Games sold Heroscape!

Here's a series of emails to Auggies games about their postage, inverted for ease of reading:
From: Tom
Hi. Interested to find out your international postage policies for Heroscape figures and terrain, including combining items. Thanks. Tom
From: Champion Games To: Tom Sent: Saturday, July 17, 2010 12:08 AM Subject: RE: International postage
International shipping- Actual cost of postage +$2
Shipping for both our PROSTORE and Ebay store end up being the same but the procedure is different. The cost to you will end up being exactly THE COST OF ACTUAL POSTAGE +$2.
EBAY ORDERS- When finished buying items request and invoice from us and we will add an estimate of shipping. We almost always overcharge on this estimate then when we fill the order and package it we will send a refund for any overcharge once we know the actual amount of postage
PROSTORE- Add items to your cart until your done shopping then checkout and pay as normal. Once we fill the order we will send you a second invoice for the actual shipping that it costs us +$2 (and we subtract any paid on the original invoice as domestic). We cannot know the cost until we fill the order and your order WILL NOT SHIP until the 2nd invoice is paid. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO PAY THE SHIPPING. It’s a lot of work to fill and order then have to sort it back and return it to the storage area . If you are worried about it being too much then we just prefer you not order and we cannot guess how much it will be until filled.

Thanks for replying, I appreciate the need for your invoice/refund structure. So to give me some idea of what the actual cost of postage could be, what ballpark figure are we looking at to send 500 grams of stuff to Adelaide, Australia (Australian postcode 5162)? I realise you can't give exact without bagging it all up, I'm not looking for exact, I want some sort of guesstimate though, as I have seen some insane postage prices from the US to Australia - like the wave 1 Roman Legion pack for $30 to Australia. So my point is I'm not worried about paying the shipping... if the shipping isn't insanely expensive, and how do I whether it is or isn't from your email below? I recently bought 13 meduim/small figures plus two huge, all with cards, from one seller on eBay, and that came to $19.49 postage. Under your system, can I expect around $21.49 for a similar order? On Heroscapers.com I read somewhere about orders over $100 get free shipping - does that apply to international customers? Thanks again for your time - I realise you don't want it wasted: I am a genuine customer. Tom
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mornin again Tom, 500 grams is just slightly over 1lb so it would have to go at teh 2lb rate. Luckily I have quite a few Australian customers so I can be fairly accurate by looking up recent past orders. The 1 lb rate is around $10 and the 2lb rate is $17. We do NOT offer the free shipping rate for international customers, that's domestic only, sorry. Our actual profit margin is less than 15% so you can see that if we did on international orders we would actually loose money on every international order. Our system is a bit strange, we realize this, but because our margins are built so tightly and int he cost of the product not shipping we found this is the best way and been using it for years (about 4 years was was when we changed to this system). All in all I haven't had any complaints and generally customers are very happy with the cost of shipping. As for paying the shipping, once we receive your order and fill it then we package it and figure shipping cost. At that point you will receive an email from us via Paypal (Auggies Games) requesting a payment. Just follow the links to pay. As always you can use Credit card, or Paypal. .......Andrew

Hmmm... thats not bad. Whats the weight of a standard heroscape booster on average? I have thrown out all my boxes except for the big ones. Once that is worked out savings can be calculated!
