New advertisememnt layout at the top of the page

I have opted to use the new advertising layout for the way advertisement banners are displayed on the page.

This should hopefully rid us of that nasty Stormriders banner that obscures half the page.

Another feature of this style is that your last 6 topics you have participated in are also shown here so you can see if anything is happening there by jumping right on in.

I can also ad a message to the right of these parts but have no idea what to put in there so if you guys want to come up with either serious or witty suggestions and post them here i'll put up the best ones!

Another way to keep the annoying ads off the forums is to purchase advertising free status on Proboards. It is $7US a month for 50,000 ad free page views which should be sufficient for our needs. I have paid the first month and just need the payment to be confirmed. I don't mind paying this but if you want to help out you can donate credits.

It seems that by going ad free we also lose the other stuff that goes up next to the ads but thats a small sacrifice!
