IF you roster is being managed on paper I'll give it a gander on wednesday.
To celebrate this week's official season kickoff the powers that be have gifted us with magic balls for the games.
At the end of each turn (1-8 each half) roll a d6, on a 1 the ball is teleported. It will reappear 2d6 squares in a random direction (D8). If the ball is in a player's possession at the time he or she is also transported to the same square. If the player goes off the field he is beaten up as per usual and the ball is thrown in from the nearest place on the sideline.

I shall be coaching the Mighty Runts this season... which essentially means free star player points for whoever plays against me. However if I do manage to beat you, well, you gotta feel pretty bad. Don't worry though as your name will forever be mortalised on some sort of thing I'll do up!

I had the great pleasure of witnessing this game, a glorious triumph for the over performing goblins and their expertly weilded secret weapons against the Nuffle-Forsaken Norse. 6 Casualties for the Gobbos and 9 KOs over the course of the match kept the Winter Warriors on the back foot. Every time they made an excellent tactical play to muster some strong defence, along came a perfectly thrown bomb, or savagely wielded chainsaw to carve a whole in the defence again.
The gobbos were a GFI away from scoring at the end of the first half, and went tits up.
They then kicked off, cleared the Norse cage with a bomber and two chainsaws and managed to score on the very last turn of the game.
The norse will be utilising the services of 4 journeymen in their second game, and may be looking for an easy matchup to help the team recover from the most entertaining, and unjust game I've seen for a long time.
