Thats awesome. I saw the first picture and was laughing a little in my head about how dodgy this stuff is going to look.....
Then I simply widened my eyes in amazement..... that stuff is incredibly nice looking. It can be constructed in seamless modular sections or in one large table.
Fantastic stuff!
And cheap too!

 Awsome! Oh, to have another 100 hours a day available! I've used the gear before for thatch; hadn't thought to use it for grass. Also, how easy to store & transport. In between use it could be mounted on a wall as a feature!

Have seen quite a few mentions of this method on the Battlefront FoW forums, but this is the first time I've acually seen it. It looks pretty damn good to me, although the mini's they're using are 28mm ones (40K sized). I'll have to get a sample n' try it out in 15mm.

You do know people are going to stare at you when you go wandering around sitting FoW minis on the samples in the fabric store don't you.... |

Hmmm, just had a brainwave (shaddup ;D) and remembered we have a head shaving device with a No 1 comb... And I have holidays coming up next week.
I may have to see how this works ;D
Probably never be able to use em' to cut hair ever again, but, meh ;D ;D
