Now this interests me. When you say 'this tournament', you mean the Adelaide dungeon bowl cup, no? This is Blood Bowl, I assume? How do I get started in Blood bowl without buying a starter kit? Are there online rulebooks etc? Can I use prepainted minis from other games? Is there a better way to bug you with all these questions? CRC

look below at my signature, click the link for the rulebook.
come along to movie nights on any wednesday night between 6pm and 9:30, borrow one of my dozens of teams and start playing. Easy.
You only need 12-16 miniatures max and you can pick up a nonGW team for under $40, or an official GW team for $50-80. Proxies are ok to start with, but the big swords and things get in the way. Many people convert their WH Fantasy miniatures by cutting the weapons off and putting them on a round base. Look in the AFOUL blood bowl league section of these forums for more information.
I have been knocked out of the finals, and don't have a game lined up for this week, so wednesday is the perfect time to start. I'll teach you how to play.

It would be... but I'm working late next Wednesday (as usual) I am reading the rules (thanks for the link), it's answering a lot of my other questions, and looks like fun.
