The inclusion of star players permanently into rosters and the meteoric rise of certain players during the preseason has made a few of the teams rather concerned about the role played by a small number of elite players.
To counteract this, an extra inducement is available this week. Hire a hitman You can pay a couple of street toughs to 'arrange' an axe-ident for one of your opposing players on his way to the game. The cost is equal to the value of the target player.
Roll 2D6 for an injury roll on the player. If the result is doubles the player has escaped and is not harmed. Stunned: the player arives a little rattled and must start the game in the reserves box, unless the team can not field 11 players, in which case he is dumped unceremoniously somewhere on the field (place player stunned on the field). KOed: the player is too out of it to play at the start of the game, place him in the KO box Casualty: roll on the casualty table as usual and apply the result

Holy snotlings batman!
Thanks everyone for coming along on wednesday, it was great to have everyone along enjoying themselves.
Sorry that games were delayed in places on account of all the new crazy house rules, hopefully after a few weeks the new team options, free agents and inducements will be a bit easier.
If people want to arrange a game here on the forum in the days preceding wednesday then you'll be able to have a think about what inducements you need and then get straight into the game.
I'll bring a few more plaster goodies for you all next week to top up your goody bags and give you more bits and pieces for your projects.

I think I counted 12 Ogres 2 Trolls 1 Minotaur, 1 Deathroller, 1 Snotling Pumpwagon,
that's an average of over 4x Strength 5, 6 or 7 players per team!
