I've been thinking teams need more ways to build up SPP on their players, especially if the top players keep asking for more money and leaving the teams.
So what do you think about the following changes TD 4 points Casualty 3 points Completion 2 points catch 1 point Knock Out 1 point crowd push 1 point successful foul (break armour don't get caught) 1 point throw team mate successfully (lands on his feet) 1 point
Only 1 MVP is given per game, not per team and it is worth more SPP, more than 5SPP, maybe as many as 9 or 10.
Thoughts?

I like it the way it is as it gives more experience to a new players and you have to learn the hard way.

Well it looks good on paper. Massive level ups quickly could make for some truly brutal (brilliant) games. Maybe for the crowd push, only award if it's a ko or injury. How exactly do you think the MVP would work? Random roll for whoever is left? I like that it would be a massive amount of SPP's.

I was thinking the MVP should simply go to the player with the most SPP accumulated during that game. Perhaps something a bit more random would work, e.g. choose the top 6 SPP scorers in the game and choose one with a D6.
Shouldn't players who do well in a game get the MVP award for that match?
e.g. What travesty getting 4 TDs without being the game MVP.

I think top 6 would work better. Just keeps the chances a bit more balanced.

or highest SPP earner and each coach chooses one player from his team- then D3

When MVP is not random, it makes some players impossible to skill up. So I would suggest Random MVP - And one for each team. Includes Highest SPP from the game, lowest SPP player on the team and one player selected by the coach. Then D3 for selection.
As for the extra SPP's as long as you feel it is equal to each team type, then any system is fine, we all skill up fast or we all skill up slow .....

excellent points, a compromise will be found somewhere in there.
Addy, 1 point for a crowd push- I think is fair because you are getting the player off the field (same points as a KO which does the same thing). Anything injury related is the achievement of the fans, rather than the player.
Hopefully this system gives more players 1 point (KO Catch, foul, push) helping them to get to that first level, all they need then is an MVP, which I think would work well with a completely random MVP.
