So an idea just occured to me, would it be useful if we somehow aquired some bloodbowl miniatures that belong to 'the Club' that would be available for anyone to use? Obviously I have plenty of teams and I like to see them get used, but is there a need for something that belongs to everyone? This might help the cash-strapped among us to try out a new team for a season or two. How would this work? - We could donate minis we don't want from our collections to be used/converted/sold/swapped.
- we could do a bit of fundraising, selling the fruits of Addy's artistic labours, hold a swapmeet/games night/ tournament
- we could put the weekly fees for permanent members up from $2 to $5 and spend the difference on a new team every month.

A few ideas i've had for fundraising; I'm going to tidy up a few of my images. See if we can't sell some more shirts. Maybe look at other things we can put them on as well. Perhaps make a few custom dugouts and such with the Hirst Arts stuff. Flog them off online somewhere. Was also looking at stuff for us. I was talking to Alex about a custom rule book like the one Dent had found. Make with with a AFOUL flair to it, but it would need to accommodate Alex's house rules somehow. Also found this site, which I think would be cool to have some logos made up. www.mrbadges.com/woven_badgesAlso maybe some d6's like the red SA one. Obviously would have our logo on it. |

I recon for fundraising the best option would be things that have universal appeal, like rulebooks, templates, dugouts, miniatures etc, rather than AFOUL branded items like dice (Which would be uber cool to have but maybe not as popular with the unwashed masses).
Gup's idea (in a separate thread) for a build your own team tournament would be great, say around 16 people $20 or less for tickets. You couldn't probably get it NAF sanctioned easily.

I agree I meant that the AFOUL stuff was for us I like the idea of a version of the rulebook with all our "standard" fouling and secret weapons rules in the relevant sections as optional rules. We could print and bind and sell the like Icepelt |
