Hey guys Just looking at painting up my Grey Knight Terminators all up a little different...I'm not entirely too sold on them always being 'grey'. I know they are 'meant' to be that colour for obvious reasons, but I'd like to be a little different. So I've smashed this together quickly, obviously this isn't a GK terminator, but you get the idea. So what are your thoughts? I'll make up theme/fluff afterwards, as that shouldn't be to much of a head trip to make a reason for colour change. (Bonus points to anyone who can guess my inspiration..)

Lose the pink man, otherwise cool.

what sort of colour do you recomend then instead? I'm hoping the purple (warplock) will come through differently when painted. and provide a contrast.
Also I have no idea yet what to do with the storm bolter, was thinking just a green casing with the usual metal parts. Also i haven't a clue what to do with the force weapon blades colouring. I've done a blue with all my other armies for power weapons, but think a blue here would just be poo.
Thoughts?

Just go with bolt gun metal for the gaps... Looks kinda like he has pink long johns on under his armour at the moment

I painted up a bit last night, I'll post a piccie when I get home of what I've started. I did paint the the soft armour warplock purple, but for some strange reason I hit it with a brown ink. It has kind of turned into a red gore color, but with depth. As I did the guys eyes last night I thought that I'd do force weapons a crackling yellow colour, but not sure if that'll look good let alone how to paint it.

I wasn't sold based on the diagram, but he looks good in the flesh with the paint on him.

i got them from an overseas company (Poland) called Micro Art studio. they do heaps of stuff. they weren't too cheap, but since im using knights in termie armour, there won't be too many models
