Allnighter Sat 12th April POSTPONED!!!

Well you have read about it in the newsletter but I thought that I had better elaborate...

Ok, this month is the 25th Anniversary of Warhammer Fantasy Battle and due to that fact we have decided to go WARHAMMER CRAZY!!!!

We have just concluded a rather nice sale and many people have taken advantage of the many deals that we had put together especially the Battalion Deals...

And what with so many people aquiring so many new miniatures to bolster their forces we have decided to pull an allnighter at the Dice and Deck in order to get all their new troops together for the coming few weeks of gaming madness.

So yes, the store will close to the general public at about 5pm Saturday Night and wont be open on Sunday. We will construct and paint all night and some other activities will be provided in order to rest cramped hands and strained eyes.

These other activities will include a possible Guitar Hero Contest and Halo Multiplayer Tournament. Small ad hoc games will be thrown together and maybe a few other things aswell.

So what to bring?

Well you will need to provide all your own food and drink (or cash incase you are purchasing all your sustenance), Your paints and minis and you also may wish to bring some bedding incase you flake out between the tables.

Just a note to you young ones, this will be a shut in so you wont be up walking the streets in the wee hours of the morning. Once you are here you are here till your parents pick you up!

Anyways come along all you gamers and have a good time at what im sure will be an event that will go down as legend!!!

hahaha, I have just sent off the order and will be making the payment in a sec. There is no reason that they wont be here on time. Unless of course the unreasonable happens..

i know this murphy you speak of... lives in my deck of cards and dice. good bloke when he in a good mood... other wise can cost you teh bloody game haha. and is there a limit at what time we can come into teh shop?

Come to the store whenever, you are old enough to be out and about doing what you want too so those rules dont apply to you. I just dont want the young guys running around all over Renmark while I am responsible for them...

can we somehow make sure that only people who actually do either warhammer, MTG and other gaming things at the store are there? If people are just sitting there doing nothing its gonna bring the whole thing down.

Yes, unfortunately due to lack of interest of people actually staying the full term the planned alnighter is now postponed till a later date. Tonight will be a regular Saturday night which still means it can be a late one. Sorry all..

I have a cunnin' plan (ironically, Tony Robinson's on the box in the background)... I plan to tunnel into the shop, have my own all nighter, then, tunnel out again leaving no trace of my presence

First of all let me just say THAT WAS AWESOME!
Although it was not an all nighter it still went till the wee hours of the morning and what a blast!
The halo gaming was incredibly fun and hilarious to watch. People started to get their newly purchased armies together and the website is well under construction!

Anyways lastnight was a good indication of what member nights will be like: Wargaming, computer/console gaming and just random shenanigans. Next time I hope we can be in a better situation with the tvs (although the 34-40cm ones did a pretty good job still the bigger the better...)
