I would really like to get a Mordheim league up and running but its upto you guys if you want one or not.
But how?
Start getting your warbands together and have a genuine want to play. Every thursday is designated Mordheim day but as yet noone has been interested. Does anybody want to play?
I have a warband ready and waiting....

Looks like this is going to be a reality after all! With the Mordheim Tournament going kaput due to people wanting to refresh their rules knowledge for this game we have now kicked off a league. Its very simple: 500gc's Rules as stated in the book (including all the optional rules) Any Warband list can be used (best to show me first though) Models must be appropriate for this system and be modelled to approx represent armament You play who you want when you want with the following restrictions: 1-3 games per week, can not play the same person within 3 games. All Exploration, locating rares, injury rolling to be done at the end of the game and witnessed by another league participant (preferrably me to avoid arguments etc) Empire in Flames will be used... A few other sources will be added once we are underway... but that is secret right now Anyways a few warbands have started to make a showing: Ash - Pitfighters Paul - Reiklanders Meg - Lizardmen Stanley - Shadow Warriors Jacob - Skaven Thyler - Greenskins Bega - Witch Hunters

Started playing games with my Pit Fighters this week, 2 games and 2 wins.
After the second game I had 150Gc's with which I could fool around with. Bought me some replacement Pit Fighters as Thylers Goblins gave me a damn good beating. I didnt actually lose anyone from my Warband but I have a very, very sore Dwarf Slayer (Leg injury putting him down to movement 2, Hand Injury putting him down to WS 3 and worst of all he is missing the next 3 games!)
I do have some pretty nice pursuers though. They have had two increases (I and WS) and seem to do the majority of the Warbands work. Their Pusuer rule is awesome (when charged successful leadership test means the enemies charge has failed) and the tridents allow them to strike first and parry!
Besides the above nothing much has happened with my Warband. Still its been a pretty eventful couple of games so far.... I am still able to play another game before Friday so who wants a piece?
Also anyone got some cool names for this Pit Fighting Warband?

Played two games today at the store. There was a fair bit of Mordheim being played which was good to see. Peoples warbands are all going quite well with only a few fatalities or heavy maimings.
My second Game today was against Scott Bowdens Posessed. The mission rolled was occupy which is almost purposely built for my Pit Fighters. The goal is to hold the key buildings in the centre of the table by having one of your warband inside it and having no enemies in there with you.
My Warband gets +1WS and +1A for fighting in ruins, buildings etc and as the game would see us fighting over the buildings I did have a massive advantage and quite easily won without taking topo many casualties.
After this battle I was able to purchase my Ogre Pitfighter!
The first game was against Paul and his Rieklanders and it was a surprise attack mission.
He started the game with only 3 marksmen on the table and I began with my entire warband deployed along one edge.
I had routed on turn 3 due to heavy casualties and had failed to kill a single one of his models. I thought Marksmen only being BS4 would not be too much of a problem but Paul made some awesome Critical hits and I had no chance. One of his shots actually took two of my Pursuers out of action doe to a ricochet!
So a massive loss against paul and to make matters worse his Marksmen scored enough XP to gain an advance.. +1BS... now they are BS5!!!!!!!!
