Howdy guys,
well since my next pay is going to be so uber thanks to extra hours, ive been thinking of ordering in a Leman Russ Exterminator from Forgeworld, to go with my Space Wolves army, however im not sure whether to buy it now, or wait and see what gets released with the new IG codex. I'd have to make changes to the forgeworld model anyway to add the bolter sponsons and swap the front gun for a bolter.
So yeah, being a n00b i unno whether to err on the side of patience or not. Any advice?

It will be a little pricey compared to a plastic kit but always keep in mind that Forge World models are always more highly detailed then their plastic counterparts.

Yeah its more putting the sponson weapons etc. on it that im worried about. I think im just gunna wait it out and see what comes with the new IG codex. Ill get in a termy conversion set instead xD and chain axes

I dont remember seeing a mars pattern hull on forgeworld, or is that the normal leman russ plastic kit? and then buy the conversion.

Does the mars one come with the sponson stuff? Thats the main thing im iffy about, dont feel confident making a sponson upgrade of my own accord.

Yeah, if you buy the "full" kit it comes with the conversion parts, and the full set of Russ sprues (I think I even got the Russ equipment sprue with my Thunderer).

Lmao yes... that site... occasionally has good finds on it. Its also a place to offload things... like land raiders that were left on the parcel shelf of cars >_>
