Been a while since there was a post in this board so thought I would chuck one in...
I have been having a look around at various zombie apocalyptic end of the world games lately and would really like to get some sort of scenario happening.
We used to do a regular zombie bash game at The Dice and Deck but that was based around Mordheim and this lacked a certain something...
I, in my own humble opinion think that zombie games are best set in the here and now and I have watched A LOT of zombie movies (think of myself as a kind of zombie coneseur or Zombieseur for short)
I reckon one of the best zombie films is The Night, Dawn, Day, Land of the Dead Movies. As for gaming I reckon Dawn of the Dead would be the best movie as it is set in a shopping mall!
Now as I have ranted for a while now I think I should get to the point. Building a shopping mall will take a bit of time. All those shelves and displays and stuff so was thinking how best to do it?
Then I remember one of the threads on the Doevys Den bords about paper terrain. It did have some great looking stuff in it and I think that stuff would do the trick!
It seems like it would be simple to construct it en mass but have a few questions:
What is the best way to construct it so that it is relatively hard wearing? Where can I get some cool looking shopping mall scans for this stuff?

You have chosen the very best zombie movie i watched that at high school lol an old film but a good one there is also a console game thats not very old that has zombies in a shopping mall that looked so cool xbox 360 game if i recall. I love zombies also and if you love them too you will love the new Call Of Duty World at War game as there is 4player co-op zombie shooting as a bonus game mode.

The game you are reffering to, Dead Rising, is absolutely awesome. I was going to get a 360 for that game alone but until Microsoft fix the Red Ring of Death Issues with it (18% of systems.... come on Microsoft) I shall be biding my time...
Have you only seen the original Dawn of the Dead? There is a new one which is pretty cool its a remake of the original that brings it into our day... Has one of the best movie intros and exits that I have ever seen!
Well I have my city streets all downloaded so when I can get them put together I will be sourcing some modern zombie minis!
Might have to see if I can get the minis from 'Last Night on Earth' which looks like a cool game and the minis seem pretty cool especially the Player Characters. All the stereotypes are there: Sherrif, Farmers Daughter, High School Jock.....

Something like Necromunda but you have maybe 1-3 models at X $$ or poits if you will vs a gamemaster type with an objective ie get from point A to point D via B and C to get weapons and equipment like a movie sort of situation.
