There are quite a few who dont seem to collect their own armies around here. They wait till they can buy someone elses and there is usually plenty on sale at about the same time a new codex/army book comes out. Its a shame really cause it is a rare thing to see a totally new army round here.

I have bought anothers army before but thats cause thats all they could pay me in...

Anyways I have high regard for people who do it from scratch!

I can certainly see the value in doing it for your first army, but its too much fun to design your list, put together the minis the way you like them and paint your favoured scheme to ever do it any other way...

(besides there'd be no profit it in for the D&D!)
