the dwarf warriors box has more than enough stuff to make a team, though you might want some green stuff for a ball and a blister of Troll Slayers.  Empire militia is perfect for a much better humies team than comes with the game  likewise chaos warriors  halflings  anything will do really, clip off the weapon, swap to a 40k base and you're done. We'll still have a game this week Ashley, Wednesday seems like as good a day as any since Stu is busy anyway. Expect a text or call from me later on to confirm. Now that I'm getting my regular fix I'm loathe to give it up. Besides if we play often enough you and Darren might get good enough to contend with me, lol. |

Got it this morning, the model looks awsome, but the guy had only just started to paint it. Its in bad need of a scrub to get the dust off and then a respray and to get started. Thankfully he's only just started to hand apply the base coat so i shouldnt lose any detail.

Nice one dod. I expect to see him facing down my orcs on my battlefield in the next few months!!
As for me I am currently working on cleaning up my gaming room and decking it out with some more choice facilities. could be a diary in itself!!
I have a massive stack of boxes to go through and shelve. Need to fing my static grass to finish my gaming board as all the scenery still needs to be done then its onto a few woods and my temple of skulls...

Well I'll probably keep all my stuff seperate in my room when I move in. Except for finished models perhaps.
Bought the old brush set and some Devlan Mud and Badaab Black to do some painting yesterday. Which I did! Will be getting too in my spare time to try and paint all my blood claws so that my army looks less dodgy.

Ordering the plastic crusader sprue on monday and some of the new stuff on wedsnday. Til then its painting blood claws and getting space hulk all assembled on monday xD

Spent most of today and yesterday sorting out my bits boxes. Have that much stuff that it was time too as I was having difficulty finding stuff. its sorted out quite nicely now with seperat 40k and fantasy and each having arms, legs, bodies, heads, shields/shoulderpads, accesories, miscelaneous, standards/totems.... I know it sounds a little anal but it was nescessary. When I get more containers it will be further refined! Still need to cut off all the pieces still on sprue.... sigh Also did more work on my table, started off my horror theme entry (gathered some stuff and had a good think) Also sorted out all my orc sprues for 40k. Got enough for a good start to my goff army (5 units 20 boys each with nob and 2 eavy weapons, 20 nobs, ghazgkull and ofcourse my rokkin roller and klaw stompas  ) And enough parts to start on my snow themed speed freaks army. Yeah, its going to be a different approach than im used to for my armies. Lots of vehicles... but instead of bikes what to use through the snow  |

Trying to get all my Elysians snow bases done in time for a tournie this weekend, plus have to add camo to the sentinels and base them and assemble and at least undercoat 3 valkyries. Lucky I have a half day tomorrow.
EDIT: OMFG doing these bases is so goddamn boring, but the end result is well worth it cause it means theyre done.

Today I cut off all the weapons from my Orcs and Goblins which will be used as my BB team. I repositioned some arms and heads aswell as putting them all on round bases. Unfortunately my Black Orcs will look like flailing loonies instead of Blockers as they are not very posable. I'll have to see what I can do about that before Sunday Arvo Football!!!
Also bought some Black Fomecore for my 'Horror' themed entry!
