The scouts are almost assembled and looking epic. The rum is also gone.
Ive used heads from the knightly orders sprue, kindly donated by Black Templar. Ive also used a head from my marauder horsemen (sadly my beardy head supply from those sets is running low)
Also used a couple of axes from the marauder horsemen. Id post pictures but my phone camera doesnt seem to be able to focus on the model since its all grey =/

I'm attempting to convert one of my hammerheads into a looted wagon. With my painting and converting skills, this should be a walk in the park. Did i mention i suffer from agoraphobia, heliophobia and anthophobia? ಠ_ಠ

Did not paint the scouts I assembled. Apart from the fact I was waiting for them to be well and truly dry, Im smart enough to not paint while drunk. Well actually its cus all my brushes are f**ked and I need new ones. Along with some black spray. Except I bought more alcohol while I was drunk and on my way to my mates, so instead of buying more cheap and nasty, I bought Jameson Irish Whiskey at $40. Sooooo no brush money lmao

Well Right now I am about to start my new Blood Bowl Team, Orks of course. Alex has started a regular Blood Bowl night and last night I went for the first time. Meg played her first game ever of Blood Bowl and beat me  My loss was due to my first chance of a TD being ruined by myself with some showboating by my Thrower at the TD line. Getting thumped by a Wight who took off with the ball. Second Chance was my failing my 'Go for it!' roll to cross the line. Late in the second half Megs undead had a Wight with a ball surrounded by zombies and Ghouls. They made their way down the field towards their end zone only to have me smash into them and take down the shield. She passed off to a wight further down the field. It was my last turn of the match and my closest orcs to the ball were 2 black orcs held up by a single zombie. Rather than dodge out I figured I would block with one to allow the other to run scott free and blitz the wight with the ball. 1 Black orc Blocking, one assisting and a zombie about to be messed up. I rolled my two Blocking Dice and both came up both down.... I failed to wound her and she sent me to the Dewad and Injured box. She ran for the TD..... for the win... I was proxying some fantasy Orcs so figured I would convert a few up for a team (I only gots 10,000pts worth so a few should not be missed) And Megs getting together her own undead models, zombie pirates of course. And a few mummies.... |

Sounds like I'll have to get a blood bowl team when I move up to join in the fun. Except I'll have to put up with Alex's shit. Hmmmm is it worth it to field a dwarven death roller.

you definately need to get a team up and running.
Sounds like Alex is keen to get a full league happening (I suggested play offs to him too). Looks like its going to be a great set up for regular weeks gaming.

Cause that's gaming club night. no regular night decided on yet, might even combine it with whatever Group North does on a wednesday if we regularly get enough people for 2 or more games. When summer rolls around BB out on the verandah with some tunes right next to the beer tap does sound appealing though. Hey I told you the reason was that I didnt want to smash everyones models. Hell I killed a land raider that night as it was. But anyway we'll see. Sadly blood bowl teams arent cheap (yes im going to buy one instead of converting) |

Just convert one. You can convert teams to look better than the bought models (excepting the stuff released in the last 5 years of course). Sure the older models have their charm but they are missing that certain something the newer GW models have.
