Okay everyone!
It seems that BloodBowl could be a game that many people can sink their teeth into and the reaction at the Dice and Deck has been encouraging.
The Dice and Deck will be running a BloodBowl league sometime in the near future.
All league rules apply.
Just need anyones expression of interest and once we have a certain number of players (I think 8 minimum would be a good number) we can commence soon there after.
We will also need a name for the league and also a trophy to play for in the playoffs that will follow. So if you people have any good suggestions let us have it!

love this game, would be happy to be league commisioner and provide all the direction, rules clarity, and organise the handicap system, keep track of team records, help yall with team constuction and maintainence, organise occasional tournament days and so forth. The term "League" makes it sound like a bit of a commitment, but really a BB league is just a bunch of mates who each have atleast one team and play games from time to time. There's no need for a schedule, or to play a minimum number of games a week or anything. Just bring your team whenever you feel like a game, and as long as you don't play the same team more than twice in a row you will satisfy all the requirements for a league 'schedule'. Drawing up a few guidelines (like whether star players are allowed, rules for forfeits and handicaps) could be decided upon and posted on the forum here for people's reference, and then all coaches have to do is play games from time to time and just manage their own team sheet. Easy Peasy. Would be happy to come up with some ideas and 'flavour' if we get enough people interested, half a dozen would be a good start. If you are keen you can have more than one team active too. This might be useful if you are a beginer and haven't worked out what your style is yet. As for names for the league, how about something that sounds like an Empire town, like Reinmacht. My favourite race is highelves, so recon they'd be my primary team in a league, though it is fun to have a game with a different team from time to time. If I can gather together a few more halflings I'll have a full team, always wanted to give them a go. If anyone is playing while I'm around you can borrow any of my teams.

the Butchers will be attempting to harvest as many elf ears as possible this friday night in their scheduled game agains the Grey Dragons. I'll be bringing over my teams and board, so if anyone wants to have a game you can borrow my Chaos, Undead, Woodelf, Human, Skaven etc. If no one beats me to it, and I can sneak some money out of the bank without SWMBO finding out I'll grab me a box of stunties to make a new team.
