That stuff looks real nice. Did you do all the blacklining on your tanks manually?

That stuff looks real nice. Did you do all the blacklining on your tanks manually? Umm, yes...but the easiest way I could of course Mixed a wash of black & pva and then worked it around the detail. Couldn't be much simpler I don't think. Then again, someone else could do it for me I guess ;D ;D I've tried blacklining the 'correct' way but found out that my abilities did not meet my ambitions. Oh, well

Black/ PVA and water?
Why the pva? Was it used to help keep the pigment together?

Why the pva? Was it used to help keep the pigment together? It tightens the surface tension of the wash and helps it cling to the detail rather than run over the whole surface. Makes the job a lot easier. It's a tip that I found on someones(?) post on WAU some time back, along with using detergent to get the opposite effect. Full credit to what's-his-name!

The latest instalment...another 195 points ...and don't forget to run because, as I found out, the unarmoured trucks that carry the guns can't handle a hit! On the upside, the guns do pack a fair punch though So, now onto another rifle platoon...
