Many many years ago back in a great hobby shop that went by the name of Tactics I partook in a few games of Clay'o'Rama. Clay'o'Rama is essentially a tabletop clay skirmish game. Are you confused? Then let me explain.... In Clay'o'Rama there are players and 1 referee. Each player is given a 'can' of modelling clay (play-dough) and is told to sculpt a creature. The creature is then given a set of stats which reflect the creation itself. Stats range from movement (done in handwidths), Attack (the number of attacking limbs), Hit points (based on how much of the clay was used, excess can be used as missiles) etc. Special abilities are then chosen by the players and these can range from Stomp (take off shoe, whack opponents Clayodian), Dismember (Rip off opponents Clayodians limbs) and even regen (Resculpt one damaged limb) The idea of the game is to take your opponents out of action, well not really, the idea is to be silly and take part in great amounts of clay related tomfoolery and sculpted skylarkings. Here is one set of rules that I have found online: ww2.netnitco.net/users/goblyn/clayorama.htmlApart from those all you will need is some play-dough which is cheap (or even free if you can nick it from the kids ) and a large surface area to play over. Im very eager to get in a game of this ridiculousnous and if anyone is interested let me know!
