I dont mind it for the most part. But it is starting to get old especially, as you stated, with all the quickly pumped out mindless children stuff. That said there have been some that I enjoy such as the 2 Final Fantasy movies (although the first one really didnt belong in the franchise) and Beowulf!

Why did the first one not belong in the franchise?
It had the title and apparently thats all you need to be a FF product, nearly all of them are stand alone, nearly all of them operate in different worlds and nearly all of them have different levels of tech....

As a matter of fact come to think of it the second movie movie does not really fit in the franchise... its basically a sequal which kind of goes against the series... Do not bother to bring up the few rare sequals as I already know of them...

Meh I dont think so. Spirits Within had a lot less in common with the others of the series than any of the other FF games I've played.
Saw the Wolverine movie today. Enjoyed it alot... until the end when I aggree with Goon completely. They f**ked up Deadpool!

lol 2 and 3 were the DS versions. 7, 10, 10-2, 12, Crystal Chronicles were all legit and Tactics was a ROM

I think I may have worked out why FF Spirits Within didn't belong in the franchise. No-one had a sword. And from what little I know of the franchise Swords seem to be a common weapon. Or am I completely wrong? in which case disregard this post.

No every FF I can remember involved a mellee and magic, often in addition to technolgy. Spirits Within didnt, apart from the "spirits".
Watched Zodiac last night, not too bad a movie. For a serious crime movie it even had a few funny moments lol
